Submission Process

A clear, honest path from manuscript to contract. We read every submission that meets our guidelines.

  1. 1

    Prepare your package

    A query letter (one page), a synopsis (two pages max), and the first three chapters. Format per our author guidelines.

  2. 2

    Submit through the portal

    Email submissions@kellerpublishing.com with your package attached as a single PDF. Subject line: GENRE — Title — Author Name.

  3. 3

    Acknowledgement (within 5 business days)

    You will receive a tracking number. Use it for any follow-up. We do not respond to status checks before 90 days.

  4. 4

    Editorial review (8 to 12 weeks)

    Two readers evaluate every package. Strong submissions advance to a full manuscript request.

  5. 5

    Full manuscript request

    If we request the full, expect another 6 to 10 weeks for in-depth review with notes from our acquiring editor.

  6. 6

    Offer & contract

    We make offers in writing with a clear advance, royalty, and rights breakdown. We encourage you to seek representation before signing.
